Fresh-Pressed Apple Juice, 3 L

Favorite Garden Fruits fresh-pressed apple juice is 100% apples from our own orchard. We press selected apples, pasteurise the juice and fill it into a box with a tap. In the glass: the clean taste of apple — mellow, balanced, with a light natural tartness.

Taste and ingredients

Ingredients: 100% not-from-concentrate apple juice. We add no water and never reconstitute juice from concentrate — the box holds only what the apples gave. Fruit juices contain only naturally occurring sugars.

Nutrition per 100 g: energy — 167.4 kJ / 40 kcal; protein — 0.5 g; fat — 0 g; carbohydrates — 9.5 g.

How we make it

We wash and sort apples from our own orchard, press them on an Austrian Voran press and pasteurise the juice at about 85 °C. Then we fill it into a Bag-in-Box — a sealed pouch inside a cardboard box. Every step in detail: “Fresh Apple Juice: How We Make It”.

The box with a tap: opening and storage

Inside the box is a soft pouch with a tap. As you pour, the pouch contracts, so almost no air gets in, and the cardboard keeps out the light.

To open:

1. Push in the perforated circle marked «Відкривати ТУТ» (“Open here”) at the bottom of the side panel.
2. Pull the tap out and fix it in the slot of the box.
3. Remove the protective tab.
4. Set the box at the edge of a table, hold a glass underneath and press the tap.

An unopened box keeps for 12 months, an opened one for 14 days. Store the juice in a dry place at 0–25 °C, out of direct sunlight; it tastes best chilled.

How to serve

Simply chilled, in a glass. Apple juice goes well with cinnamon, cloves and orange zest: warm it with spices for a fragrant alcohol-free mulled drink. It also adds a gentle tartness to smoothies, cocktails, sauces and marinades.

Questions and answers

How is not-from-concentrate juice different from reconstituted juice?
Not-from-concentrate juice is pressed straight from the fruit and never concentrated. Reconstituted juice is made from concentrate with the water added back.

Does the juice contain sugar?
We add nothing: the only ingredient is apple juice. Its sugars are natural, from the apples themselves — about 9.5 g of carbohydrates per 100 g.

How many glasses are in one box?
3 L is about 12 glasses of 250 ml.
